DownloadFinancial Assistance For EVC Attenders
Financial Benevolence Assistant for regular EVC attenders is evaluated on a case to case basis and will be confidential. You will be referred to one of our Benevolence Team Members, who will contact you as soon as possible for an interview. After the interview your request will be reviewed and you will be notified of the team’s recommendations. Generally only 1 request per twelve-month period will be considered. If you are in need of assistant, please call the church office between Tuesday and Friday 9:00-2:00PM and speak with Sonya Ramsey at 614-920-4842.
Food Pantry Assistance
At this time EVC does not have an open food pantry. Anyone in need of assistance in the Pickerington area will be referred to the Pickerington Food Pantry located at 15 E Columbus St. in Pickerington, 614-834-0079. If there is a need outside the Pickerington area, please contact Hands On Food at 614-341-2282
Homeless Ministry Outreach
Join us and other local churches as we distribute food, build relationships, and pray for the homeless in downtown Columbus. This ministry occurs on the last Saturday of each month. We meet in the EVC parking lot at 5:45PM to carpool to Fruit of the Vine located at 181 East 5th Ave, Columbus. We typically return to EVC around 9:30pm. Sign up at the info counter or contact Arnold and Sonya Ramsey at nicknatnan@gmail.com.
How you can help?
If you would like to make a donation to the Benevolence Ministry, you may place your donation in the offering basket, the offering boxes in the rear of the auditorium, or the Benevolence Offering Box, located near the east exit doors. Please mark checks in the memo for “Benevolence”. You may also take a grocery bag to fill with groceries and return it the next week to the info counter. Bags are located across from the info counter. Thank you for your help!
