Sonshine Harbor
Nursery – Provide tender care to babies 0 up to 2 years of age. This group or children requires 3 volunteers a week with each volunteer helping 1 time a month for 3 consecutive months. Follow instructions given by parents. Be knowledgeable of nursery procedures, located in nursery. Tidy up nursery after service.

Little SonCatchers curriculum is used for Ages 2 through Kindergarten. The children learn how God loves them and wants to take care of them through Bible based lessons. They learn the importance of memorizing scripture and talking to God everyday through prayer.

Toddlers – Provide Care for 2 and 3 year olds. Greet parents and kids as they come into the room. Read and integrate Bible Lessons following Son Catcher’s curriculum into prescheduled activities and/or crafts. Requires a team of two volunteers each week; committing to 1 time a month for 3 consecutive months. Clean up room(s) after service.

Age 4 thru Kindergarten – Greet children and parents as they come into room. Interact with children and build on concepts from Bible story. This group of children requires 3 to 4 helpers per week to effectively teach Bible values of the day. Each helper is in charge of one station (crafts, memory verse, Bible Story, etc.), but everyone works as a whole. Clean up room when children leave. Each volunteer signs up for 1 time a month for 3 consecutive months.

Juiceworks
1st thru 6th Grade – A team of 2 to 3 people are needed for this age group. The volunteers would work together on meeting the kids as they come into class, interacting with the children. There is a need for someone to orchestrate Bible time/lesson, another volunteer to lead prayer time (teaching the children the need to pray and how to pray for themselves and others), and another volunteer to lead the lesson from the elevate series. Each volunteer would commit to 1 time a month for 3 consecutive months.

The Squeeze
5th & 6th Grade – An exciting new ministry within “JuiceWorks”, involves the group known as “Tweeners”. This group tends to find themselves too old for Children’s Ministry, yet not quite ready for Youth Ministry. Helpers are needed to meet with 5th and 6th graders after adult worship to implement Bible reading time and help with spiritual growth. Volunteer would follow curriculum developed by 5th and 6th grad leader. This would require a commitment of 1 time per month for 3 consecutive months.
