Other Volunteer Positions

Kidcheck – Volunteers need to be available at least 15 minutes before service and after service. Volunteers are responsible for making sure the kids are checked in with parents and checked out with parents, only. This requires 2 helpers per week, signing on for 1 time per month, for 3 consecutive months. The volunteer will be responsible for scanning kidcheck tags and giving child and parent name tags. At the end of service, the helper will be responsible for scanning the name tags with the guardian tags, to ensure the kids are leaving with their parents.

Watchdog – To ensure the safety of our children, the watchdog watches over the Children Ministry area during the service. Watchdog also assists volunteers when needed (rotating to another room, etc.). Watchdog will check in children who arrive late using Kidcheck and ensure the kids get to the correct room. This requires 1 volunteer per week, signing on for 1 time per month for 3 consecutive months.

Visitor’s Table – Volunteer must be available before church. Arriving at least 15 minutes before the service starts. Have visitors fill out visitor card. Explain to visitor how kidcheck works and have their information entered to kidcheck. Volunteer will show the visiting children to their correct room and introduce them to the teacher. This requires 1 helper per week, signing on for 1 time per month, for 3 consecutive months.
